About Mixtape Single
Mixtape Single is our daily compilation of two tunes that go well together. Essentially, an A Side, B Side of a 7″ record. The only difference, it’s always two different artists.
In expectation of an upcoming 7″ record we have begun to ask ourselves, what makes a good combination of two songs?
Furthermore we want our fans to be able to get inside our heads, and have music exchange with us on the level of understanding our influences. We stand on the shoulders of giants, who in turn, stood on the shoulders of other giants. Our hopes for mixtape single:
- Expand ourselves to be constantly listening and reviewing new music
- Build relationships with bands who’s songs we write about
- Gain new fans of old bands in the process
- Keep it interesting and worthwhile
